Screen Porch Retreat in Goochland

This Client came to Bon Air Exteriors looking for an area to entertain family & friends. This project includes so many amazing features. The screen porch is made up of pressure treated post with pressure treated decking boards. We installed Trex Transcend Railing system. The roof line for this porch was an A-frame with an open gable to let more sunlight through. The customer also requested 4 additional skylights 2 to be added to each side of the roof line. The screen system we used was a black screen eze product. The ceiling is a vaulted ceiling with a 1x6 pine tongue & groove with clear stain. Electrical Wise we added a beautiful drop down ceiling fan with 6 recessed can lights 3 on either side of the roof line. We also added a flood light on the end of the screen porch along with an outlet on the inside to mount a TV. The underneath structure was made up of rough cut 1x6 lumber used for lattice. Along with a barn door access for underneath storage. Whether you are entertaining a large group of people or your turning on the television, the homeowners use this space almost every day.
