Extravagant Backyard Oasis

This project featured in The Home Mag is definitely an eye-catcher! We replaced this customer’s old, outdated wooden deck with a beautiful new low maintenance composite deck and screen porch, creating the perfect space to relax and entertain on the water. They selected Fiberon composite decking in the color Chai, with a double row picture frame border in Earl Grey which gave it a clean and finished edge. We offered this customer many custom options. The customer selected a hip roof with a vaulted ceiling which gave us the ability to create a decorative custom beam that gave it a high-end look. We finished the ceiling with 1x6 tongue and groove that was stained to the customer’s choice which really gives this project a warm and inviting feel. We also installed cedar columns with a stained finish that matched the ridge and center beams to create a modern touch. Instead of matching the fiber cement siding on the home, we installed new cedar lap siding on the interior side of the screen porch to provide a rustic and vibrant feel. These railings were specifically chosen on this job to give it a sleek appearance without compromising the view of the water. They selected the Metal Excalibur Steel rails in matte black. We used Eze Screen with a black track that matches the cedar columns for a seamless look. We thoroughly enjoyed designing this customers vision and building this project
